This summer, I picked up the guitar again and suddenly realized it was fun to sing songs I hadn't listened to, played or sung in a long time. Music is time travel. As I started learning songs, I gradually remembered I once learned more than four chords and remembered how much of the songs come back to life in my memory once I start singing them. It's now part of my summer morning routine, after preschool or camp drop-off. Sadly, that routine is soon coming to an end. I recorded the songs so I can hear them easily and share them with anyone who's interested. I hope they help you time travel, too. If you're interested in hearing an alternate version of other old songs, email me at jonah asks at gee mail and I'll try it out if it's not too challenging. Also, these are obviously not my songs, so I'm not looking to make money (or get sued). If you enjoy them, share them with others who might.
